CITYPLOT IS A COLLECTIVE OF PROFESSIONAL URBAN FOOD GROWERS, EDUCATORS AND PERMACULTURE DESIGNERS

We encourage city dwellers to grow their own vegetables, herbs, edible flowers and fruit and give them the tools to do so. We believe that it is possible to grow healthy organic food on all scales in and around the city: from private growing spaces to community gardens, from schools and restaurants to large-scale urban food growing projects.

Välkommen till vår senaste plats - byn Glimåkra! Vi hoppas kunna erbjuda workshops, turer och trädgårdstjänster och ser fram emot att arbeta i det lokala samhället. Cityplots trädgårdsmästare Suzanne Oommen flyttade till Glimåkra i södra Sverige 2022 och har arbetat där i ett lantligt tempo för att skapa kontakter genom att odla mat.

Vi är glada att kunna meddela att vår gemensamma trädgård startades i maj och även om vi bara har två bäddar just nu växer redan många grönsaker. Vi samordnar denna trädgård i samarbete med Anton Flood på Glimåkra folkhögskola, ett community college som ger oss utrymmet. Vi bjuder in alla i området att besöka oss eller om du bor i närheten att delta i våra veckovisa arbetsdagar. Ta gärna en titt!

Welcome to our latest location - the village of Glimåkra! We hope to offer workshops, tours, community garden services and look forward to working within the local community. Cityplot gardener Suzanne Oommen moved to Glimåkra, in southern Sweden in 2022 and has been working there at a rural pace to connect through growing food.

We are excited to announce that our community garden was started in May and though we have only two beds right now, many crops are already growing. We are coordinating this garden in collaboration with Anton Flood at the Glimåkra folkhögskola, a community college which is providing us the space. We invite anyone in the area to visit or if you live nearby join our weekly workdays. Have a look!
