Description:

Have you heard the word ‘Permaculture’ yet are not really sure what it is?

Are you considering joining the Homesteading movement, and/or starting a Permaculture site of your own, and don’t know where to begin?

Are you curious to experience what a Permaculture lifestyle and site entails, but don’t know where you can do so?

Do you think that Permaculture is some form of glorified gardening?

We’re about to change all of that!

Permaculture is a holistic way of living and mindset - meaning, it can touch all aspects of our lives. It cuts through the dogma of many other ‘systems’, and connects the dots between everything even remotely related to the 3 Permaculture Principles:

Earth Care, People Care, and Return of the Surplus.

That covers pretty much everything, seen in the broader sense…

The ‘Permaculture Flower’ ties in:

1) Education & culture

2) Health & spiritual well-being

3) Finance & economics

4) Land tenure & community governance

5) Land & nature stewardship

6) Building

7) Tools & technology

…you’ll surely find yourself in there somewhere…

That all might sound quite serious - and Permaculture does indeed tackle some pretty serious subject matter - yet makes no sense at all if it’s not full of fresh air, frolicking, fantastic food and fun!

Ooh - and there will be time to have a rest under the shade of the big maple tree, or go for a swim in the nearby lake if you wish…and we’ll enjoy a big and healthy, picnic lunch together.

Whether you are old hat at Permaculture and just want to hang out with us for the day, or you want the kids (or yourself!) to experience sowing some seeds, or making a wild-herb salad - bring your questions, curiousity, and enthusiasm along for around six hours of Permaculture enjoyment!
